SL International Mr Leather 2012

Ring Ring........  HELLO?    We want to talk to YOU.

Yes all LEATHER MEN and LEATHER BOYS and those that love them!!!   

 Mark these dates on your calendar:   Sept. 23-25  (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)

CONTESTANTS: The adrenaline rush of strutting your stuff is worth being a contestant and the prizes will be fantastic. Prior winners cannot re-enter,  BUT if you have entered before and didn't take a  trophy home, you are welcome to enter again!!  

ELIGIBILITY
Contestants must be fully human adult males with payment info on file and / or Adult verified - must be able to access adult rated sims.

APPLICATION
Applications must be dropped into the green mailbox in the Mr Leather Info Centre by midnight (slt) on Sunday, 20th September - Make sure you choose Leather Man or Boy.

PHOTOS
Applications must have "at least" two pictures in them - one casual and one leather (maximum of five pictures in all). These should be 512x512 minimum size and MUST be with full rights (i.e. Modify, Copy & Transfer). 
                      
SELECTION
A judging panel will choose a maximum of 16 contestants spread over Mr Leather & Leather Boy from all applications submitted. If there are no more that 16 applications, all contestants (deemed eligible) will participate in the contest.  

Contestants will be chosen solely on their applications and pictures provided.
The application narration/essay (100 words) is very important on the  pre-selection process.                  

We reserve the rights to display contestant application pictures as part of the contest.  
All submitted materials become property of the contest and may be used for promotional purposes
Portions of essays and applications will be read out during contest as part of the competition.              

Selected Contestants will receive a notecard with their contestant number & other Information no later than Monday 19th September. Landmark will be provided so contestants can get used to the contest and backstage areas.

You will be added to the contest group and must wear the tag during the event, but 1st place winners need not wear their tag full time for the rest of the year.

If there are 2 or fewer  people in a category we may not run that category for that year.  
Mr. Leather 2011 and Leather Boy 2011 are titles for life as will be noted in the Winner's poster at the IML Centre.
First Place winners cannot enter future IIMPULSE International Mr. Leather Contest.  
All other contestants will be permitted to enter future contests.

RESPONSIBILITES  
Winners of the contest must agree to act honourably.  You will positively represent IMPULSE and be a  role model in our leather community and should not abuse its benefits. The producers will revoke the title if its positive meaning and honour is not maintained. AND One written warning notice will be given and if not corrected, the title will be revoked.            

If the first place winner leaves SL, gives up the title or looses the title, the next highest person scoring will become Acting Mr leather or Mr Leather boy and their picture will be posted in Mr Leather contest hall. Becoming an Acting winner does not keep you from entering future contests. 
         
You will act as our eyes and ear to help keep  us (Impulse Management) up to date on what is going on so that we may better serve the gay community. 
 

PHOTO COMPETITION: This year we will have a photo contest.   Get your cameras ready!  Winning photos will win prizes and also be posted with recognition at the leather centre and in the IML magazine.

We want to get as many event pics as possible on Fri-Sun so we are offering 2,000L to the best Event Picture.  Picture must have full rights and please change the name of the picture to include your name
Deposit it in the same green drop off box as the applications

IML SPONSORS: Again this year we will be offering sponsorships for those who want to be our partners.  Our aim is not only to acquire the prize and contest money, but to ensure that all our sponsors can participate, and are available for maximum exposure to all our LEATHER lovers!  This year we are opening sponsorship not only to our generous vendors, but also to groups, clubs, and individuals!

Impulse Island will present its 6th Annual IMPULSE INTERNATIONAL MR. LEATHER CONTEST 2011. We are asking for your help as a SPONSOR for this year's event.

This event is very popular with contestant participation and observers of the event.  We have 2 sims to accommodate the large capacity attendance we have every year.

WHO CAN SPONSOR?

• Vendors
• Groups
• Clubs
• Individuals

All sponsorship lindens will go towards the winner's prize money and towards other event DJs, Hosts, and Sploders.  We use every linden we collect for the week end events and expenses.  We hope you will participate with us and we promise to give you the maximum exposure you deserve!

VENDORS, GROUP & CLUBS
Sponsorship is 3000 Lindens and gets you 5x5 meter adverts in slideshows at all the 4 venues. 
Your advert will be in high traffic visible locations at all the party venues and prominently posted in the contest auditorium

Each Sponsor will get a posting in our website, in the blog which will we post, and at the leather centre at 2606.

Also a full page advert for your business will be published in the MR. LEATHER BOOK  2011.  This will be distributed to over 3000 IMPULSE MEN'S CLUB members, and also available to everyone at the MR. LEATHER CENTRE outside of the 2606 Men's Club.

INDIVIDUALS
Sponsorship is at 500 LINDENS and will get your your name listed on the Donor Texture, which will be posted in all the contest venues and on the website. The list will also be posted at the LEATHER CENTER and in our MR. LEATHER BOOK  2011.  This will be distrubuted to over 3000 IMPULSE MEN'S CLUB members and also available to everyone at the MR. LEATHER CENTER outside of the 2606 Men's Club.


INSTRUCTIONS
No need to give us the shirt off your back - simply provide your corporate sponsorship of L$3000 (along with a full perm logo texture for your business) or Individual sponsorship of L$500 to Prynce Llewellyn by 19th September.  The earlier the better so that we can start advertising your sponsorship as soon as we get it.  If you get it in by August 30th you will be mentioned in the IMPULSE newsletter which goes out to 10,000 clients.
