IMPULSE 2012 - Horror Night

Happy Hallowe'en, my ghostly and ghoulish friends. Do you have the nerve to venture to Betsy's ancestral home and meet her ancestor Countess Betsy Bathory?  She is said to have bathed in virgin's blood to stay young but mostly she drank milk and cut down on carbs... oh and took regular exercise (now that is a truly horrible thought!).  On a full moon, you can hear her ghostly hooves on the cobblestones and the swish of her cape tail but beware she can turn herself into a flying pat and muck your neck!  Yes, it is she who truly puts the Dung in Dungeon!

I guess I first came to 2606 about a year ago... I popped into a dance, Loved the place and the crowd!  I always feel welcome and at home there!  I love LEATHER NIGHT!

I am recently single and loving it... I intend on staying that way from now on!  But I think I'd take Betsy on a date to a big nice open field at first... then maybe a little trip out behind the barn...... GRINS

I have moved to a new sim and working on that slowly.... no club, nothing fancy just a place for my friends to come and visit and feel at home.   I would just like to say that I have so enjoyed being Mr Leather.... and I thank each and every one of you that voted for me and have supported me!

Man of the Month - Dillon Michalak

I first came to 2606 in Dec 2008. I loved it. It had the feel of a rl leather bar and I felt at home as I like uniform and grunge. I like the people that run it and work there; they always say hi when you get there and make you feel welcomed. I love the music DJ Dex plays.

My partner Slam is my passion. I love him more than anyone I've known in rl or sl and I feel a real bond and commitment with him. We met at 2606 btw, lol. There really, really, really is love at first sight...even in SL. He blows me away and 8 months later I still have to catch my breath cuz....he just swoops it from me.

Where would I take Betsy on a date? LOL...hell yea lol...Slam and I would take out Betsy. Better yet...our sim is a Rustic Tuscan theme. We'd let Betsy live on our estate and eat grapes and wheat ...anything she wanted out in the field lol. It's a paradise for cows.

I love working with graphics. My hobby is taking pics and editing them. Also, I am learning how to do animation and make sculpties with Slam. I work with PaintshopPro, Photoshop, Poser 7, Wings, Blender and Daz 3D.

New Year ... Forward into 2012

What a fabulous New Year’s Party: by far the Party of the Year with over 131 unique guests who kept dancing even after four hours of partying across the US. DJ Ralphy was great and so where the hosts Joe Lycomedes & Zane Refenoir, they kept the party going and fun. Every hour the special New Year’s ball would count down and drop, we had great fireworks and a VIP Champagne toast from Betsy!

The sim occupancy was about 40 most of the time which is great and Cj Doulton and Azrael Hird were voted as having the the Hottest Holiday Looks and won beds from Pillow Biters kindly donated by Dextrum Boucher

We also used the party to celebrate Impulse’s 6th REZ Year Party (actual date Jan 2^nd). Cheers to the longest running gay event sim with over 3,500 members in the Impulse Men’s club alone! Our newsletter has over 12,000 subscribers! What Impulse is today is all because of YOU!

It has been amazing watching Impulse grow into what it is today. So much has changed since 2006 when we were happy to have 10 people at an event - now we like 30+. We used to feel busy with three events a week and we currently have nine. We hope as this New Year starts you will be here to join us on what we call Impulse’s Path (aka Betsy’s Cow Path) it is always a fun adventure!!
